There are many riding arena surfaces available, probably the most popular are sand and rubber mixtures or just sand without the rubber mixture added and depending on budget available. Silica sand or sand of your choice can be used.

It is important to remember that any riding surface needs regular maintenance, so regular grading and looking after the surface will only help to improve the surface ride given to the horse and rider.
